Mayor and Director of Safety Annette Blackwell proposed a new initiative of 32 new safety cameras, which City Council approved, to address crime in the City. The new cameras have license plate reading technology that will assist the Police Department with identifying and locating vehicles associated with a crime. The cameras will be posted throughout

A Community Meeting has been set for Thursday, September 9, 2021 between 5:30p and 8:00p at The Lanes at Southgate. Please see the Community Meeting flyer for more information about the speakers and agenda.
The foundation and concrete pad of the vestibule and the base of the elevator shaft have been poured. As the weather clears up, masons will begin laying the block walls for the elevator shaft. The project remains approximately on schedule, with minor delays due to the rain over the past few weeks.
