The City of Maple Heights is pleased to announce two recent awards from Cuyahoga County, in connection with the Fiscal Year 2025 Community Development Block Program. $132,000 for the Maple Heights Senior Center Accessibility Project, which will be utilized for replacement exterior doors assisting the Senior Center with ADA compliance and accessibility. $50,000.00

The appointments will be held every Monday beginning February 3 through April 7 (except for February 17, President’s Day). The 2024 Maple Heights Senior Center Peterson’s Gourmet Nuts and Snacks Fundraiser is now underway! This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Seniors; and the monies raised enhance the programming the Seniors utilize throughout the year. Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA) provides Independence to Seniors through their NAILSIT Program, which offers low-income seniors the opportunity to address small ADA alterations to aid with aging in place. Seniors must be aged 60+, a resident of Cuyahoga or Lorain Counties, and live in their own home. Current funding ends February 28,
