Yesterday’s Jobs & Opportunities Fair was a huge success! This event was very well attended, with 70 job candidates, in total. Those in attendance represented a wide range of backgrounds with varying employment goals. Over 20 tables of employers provided potential hires with information and applications. Southwest Quadrant Sewer Repairs- Dunham Road Beginning on Monday, 2/27; storm sewer point repairs will begin on Dunham Road between Turney and Rockside. This construction will last a week, weather permitting. For everyone’s safety, please no street parking during construction hours; keep children off of the construction equipment and away from the excavation areas.
Last week, Mayor Blackwell attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Connectworks Mobility Solution Program, a pilot micro transit program that connects people from public transportation stops on GCRTA to the front door of their workplace. The program, operated by SHARE mobility, connects riders from the GCRTA Southgate Transit Center located here in Maple
Earlier this month, Moody’s Investors Service issued an updated Credit Opinion for the City of Maple Heights, increasing its issuer rating to (Baaa3 stable).
