ABC News 5 Covers Annual Door-to-Door Inspection Program

Announced earlier this year, the City's Department of Building is beginning an Annual Door-to-Door Inspection Program, inspecting all residential properties in the City on a 5-year rotating basis (see the Press Release for the initial announcement). ABC News 5 also covered the Program recently, featuring Mayor Annette Blackwell and Housing Manager Brendan Zak.

Delinquent Property Tax Grant Available

CHN Housing Partners launched their Delinquent Property Tax Assistance Program to address delinquent property taxes for individuals who have experienced a COVID-19 hardship after January 21, 2020. This pilot program is funded by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) via U.S. Department of the Treasury funds made available through the American Rescue Plan of 2021.

Service Department Receives New Truck

The Service Department recently received a new Ford truck that will help with numerous tasks around the City, including snow plowing and grass cutting. The new truck modernizes the City's fleet of equipment that serves the residents of the City.

NOPEC Natural Gas Enrollment Mailers

Existing and newly eligible residents and small businesses in NOPEC member communities will receive natural gas enrollment letters in the mail beginning November 10th.
