Last Thursday, the families of both Gladys Sheary and Phyllis Leanza were honored with the unveiling and dedication of the brand new exercise room and water fountain/ dispenser at the Maple Heights Senior Center. As a result of a very generous gift from both Ms. Sheary and Ms. Leanza’s estates, the seniors have an updated exercise space, including all brand new exercise equipment, new state of the art flooring, and a brand new water fountain/dispenser. Dedication plaques were also unveiled for these two new additions; which brought both families such joy to witness.
Both of these women spent a lot of time at the Senior Center, enjoying activities and fellowship with friends, and the families present for this dedication spoke to how important the senior center was for both women. The water fountain/dispenser is located on the first floor, near the entrance; and the exercise room is on the second floor. Both are available for use during the regular hours of operation at the Senior Center. Thank you, Sheary and Leanza families for honoring the wishes of Ms. Gladys Sheary and Ms. Phyllis Leanza, and may their memory be a blessing for all.
