Thank you to our several volunteers from the Maple Heights High School, Senior Center, and Community, who shared their time, talent, and treasure this past Friday cleaning and painting the Maple Heights Food Pantry.  What an amazing job! Look at these before and after photos!

It was a lot of hard work but everyone was diligent in getting the work completed.  The walls and shelves were scraped, sanded and painted; giving the pantry a fresh and brighter look.

Funding for the Food Pantry project was made available through the ServeOhio MLK Day of Service Grant.  The MLK Day of Service calls upon citizens from all walks of life to volunteer their time and talents to provide solutions to issues within their communities.  Seniors, community residents, students and teachers came together to make this a successful project.  The MLK Day of Service empowers individuals, strengthens communities and moves us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a “Beloved Community.” #ServeOhio #MLKDay2024
