Last Tuesday, Mayor Annette M. Blackwell and Maple Heights City Schools’ Superintendent Olympia A. Della Flora delivered the Joint State Addresses at Milkovich Middle School. Superintendent Della Flora shared data and details about the most recent State of Ohio Performance Grade Card; and Mayor Blackwell provided City Department project achievements, accolades, and future plans for each department. At the conclusion of the evening, Mayor Blackwell presented two 2024 Business of the Year Awards. Congratulations to Bill Katsaros and family, owners of Work Smart Clothing Factory Outlet Store; and Sam Sparks and family, owners of Mr. Wonderful’s Chicken and Waffles on receiving the 2024 City of Maple Heights Businesses of the Year Awards!
