Summer is a time to be active outside, pick up a new sport or hobby, or get ready for the coming school year. Below are some of the many offerings available to Maple Heights residents and youth around Maple Heights and in neighboring communities. Bridge to Freedom School
The Warrensville Road Community Baptist Church presents the Bridge to Freedom School between July 5th and July 30th from 8:30a to 2:30p. The school is open to Grades K – 7, and offers activities such as morning devotion, reading lessons, crafts, meals, field trips and more. Warrensville Heights YMCA Day Camp
For children ages 5 – 12, YMCA’s Day Camp focuses on character development, including teamwork and leadership, through fun activities. The camp takes place at Warrensville Heights Elementary (21865 Clarkwood Parkway Warrensville Heights, OH 44128) 4 – 5 days a week between 7:00a and 6:00p. Tales and Tails Summer Reading Program
The Cuyahoga County Public Library offers a summer reading program to engage children in fun stories and learning throughout the summer months. Reading completion prizes and a grand prize raffle is included in the fun! Summer Tutoring Program
The Cuyahoga County Public Library is offering 1 on 1 tutoring for rising Grade 1 – 6 students from now until August 12, 2021. Call the Maple Heights branch at (216) 475-5000 for more information and to sign up for appointments.
