📚We are very excited to announce The City of Maple Heights has received funding from ServeOhio for the construction of a Little Free Library, to be installed in Stafford Park early next year. The Little Free Library installation will honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and his activism during the Civil Right Movement. Some titles that will be featured in the Little Free Library include ‘The Youngest Marcher: The Story of Audrey Faye Hendricks, A Young Civil Rights Activist’ by Cynthia Levinson; and ‘We March’ by Shane W. Evans, among others.
📚This collection of books will provide an opportunity for children to learn more about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through written works, while encouraging literacy development.
