Mayor Annette M. Blackwell is pleased to announce that the City of Maple Heights has been awarded a $150,000 CDBG Block Grant from Cuyahoga County Department of Housing and Community Development.  This grant award will be used for the Maple Heights Stafford Park Restoration Project – Phase 2, which includes the construction of a new shelter/bandstand at Stafford Park.

The new shelter/band stand will be constructed near the existing pavilions, with ADA pathways into and around the project area, for inclusion and updated accessibility. The construction of the new shelter/bandstand building pad and ADA pathway is scheduled to begin in August 2023 with the delivery and installation of the new structure tentatively scheduled for Fall 2023. The project renderings are below. This will be a wonderful addition to Stafford Park upon completion!
