Ohio EPA Notices

When the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) receives applications, OEPA is often required to notify residents and communities within a certain distance of various air/water/sewer/etc.  permit applicants’ locations. In addition to mailing information to local communities they typically publish a notice in local newspapers for the general public. This gives individuals and communities the opportunity to comment on permits that are being considered. Permits are typically open for comment for 30 days after the notice appears in the local newspaper. In addition to the standard notifications, the City of Maple Heights will provide the notices it receives below as an additional notification.
