The Dunham Road contractor started placing the first layer of asphalt on the northbound lane on Thursday June 10th, and is scheduled to complete that work on Friday June 11th. Please note that this is only the first of two layers of asphalt to be installed. There is a significant amount of work that will need to be performed prior to the surface (final) layer of asphalt being placed. The substantial construction completion, with the restoration of normal traffic flow, remains July 1, 2021. This date remains weather dependent. Traffic will continue to be restricted to southbound only throughout the duration of the construction.
