Congratulations to Pregnant with Possibilities Resource Center for a successful Annual Meeting celebrating 10 years of service to the community. This milestone was recently celebrated at the Mediterranean Party Center, featuring Mayor Annette M. Blackwell as a guest speaker. Blackwell shared the importance of the efforts of this non-profit organization which positively impacts new mothers on their pregnancy journeys. In 2024 the Resource Center assisted 526 families with essentials during pregnancy and birth. In addition to these baby supplies, the Resource Center recognizes the need for comprehensive mental health care and has expanded into Behavioral Health Services for their clients and families. Bloom, an extension of the Pregnant with Possibilities Resource Center addresses mental health from pregnancy, through the first year postpartum. These wrap-around services not only assist new mothers and families with providing a support network for a healthy pregnancy and birth experience, they also assist during the critical first year.
