An Official Statement from Mayor Annette M. Blackwell:
It was brought to my attention that the Building Department’s Code Inspector(s) recently issued code violation notices for exterior repairs in late November for repairs that are seasonal. More specifically, asphalt repairs, painting, power washing and more.
Please know that after review of a sampling of these notices that I instructed the Building Department to extend the Compliance Due Date to September 1, 2025.
An administrator from our Building Department has made this adjustment in our building software and new notices will/have been issued.
