We did it! The City of Maple Heights is Kindland’s KINDEST CITY IN NORTHEAST OHIO!
Kindland’s Mayors’ Challenge asked communities across the region to do and share the most acts of kindness and document them using the Just Be Kind App and social media. The City of Maple Heights went ALL IN and documented over 100 kindness posts showcasing how it continuously spread kindness via projects like their new Little Free Library, coat drives, its ‘shop with a cop’ event, prom dress donation drive, its ‘Light The Way’ light bulb donation campaign in partnership with Maple Heights City Schools, and countless activities engaging its senior residents. The city’s kindness was truly remarkable and an inspiration to all.
Join us to celebrate this amazing achievement as Kindland recognizes our city at the “Music in the Park” at Stafford Park on Tuesday, June 13th, with an awards ceremony at 6PM.
Presented by Cleveland, Ohio-based, non-profit organization, Values-in-Action Foundation, the Kindland movement is bringing together communities, businesses, organizations, and schools by recognizing and sharing the acts of kindness around us in an effort to inspire a ground swell of positivity and goodness. Kindland relies on the power of the people to do, recognize, report, and share the acts of kindness happening everyday.
